From the employee's point of view, a complete disaster. Please pay your employees properly and on time. The fact that you don't even have a first-aid kit, or that injuries are not properly documented, will certainly not please the trade association. The store broke down completely.

Very nice employees who opened a room for us so that we could find space. The food and drinks are good. Unfortunately, it was a bit chilly in the room, which disturbed the cosiness.

Both in summer and in winter you can sit outside - it's great. Service is friendly and courteous, food also fits :). Price-performance ratio is consistent.

Delicious cocktails and good food. We had reservations and should sit in the smoking area. That is not how it works. In response to the objection that we would like to have another seat, we were offered a table directly at the exit to the smoking area where it was cold. That clouded the mood a bit.

Nice and nice atmosphere .. Good food .. But unfortunately when there is a lot going on it is a bit disorganized ... Still very comfortable.

Average food, lazy service and quite expensive. If you want to drink and have some snack food with friends, is ok... but if you want to have a taste of Mexican food, you will get it wrong in this place.

The food was quite good, but you can hardly see it because it is so dark in this restaurant and the service is terrible and inattentive. We waited at the table for 25 minutes until someone even came and took our drinks order. Nobody ever came. We waited forever. Unfortunately, the prices for the drinks were too expensive for me.

Great cocktail menu and loads of delicious Mexican delicacies. Lots of places on the terraces. And the fantastic view is free. Even if you just want to enjoy a coffee, you've come to the right place. There are plenty of parking spaces in the area.

You die of thirst at the table. Stupid sayings from the staff 🙄 if anyone ever comes. No chance of becoming a regular. The cocktail was delicious and the music loud.

Sit relaxed on the outside terrace with a view over Kassel with a MIAMI SUN drink. I didn't really want to eat anything, but after consulting the polite, attentive and decent waiter, I followed his recommendation and ordered the QUESADILLA Pulled Pork, very good! I'll be back, thank you very much!

The Bolero is one of the best addresses in Kassel. There you can eat very good cocktails and in my case burgers. The employees are also top notch. I will visit the Bolero often and with pleasure.

Cocktails are only punched and are not worth their price. Food was ok. Better beer and wine then.

Very good service and excellent food, the atmosphere is good too. In the evening there is a jumbo promotion where all cocktails are twice as big as normal. You can't complain about the prices 👍🏻

A bar with a lot of young people. A large selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails and normal open drinks. Small dishes are also popular. Personally, I liked the waiter's great dealings with his guests. Open and always friendly, he was also able to explain the map well. I will definitely come again.

One of the good surprises of our German tour. We were mostly looking for a place to sit and eat with it 3 children but what we got is: a big terrace with a superb view on the Staatpark, friendly and useful staff, fast food tasty and well prepared, overall a nice moment spent together.

A total disaster. You wait for hours for a drink, which is then forgotten. After a reminder and asking when you will receive your drink, instead of a previously ordered lemonade, you get an alcoholic drink on the table after almost 1 hour. Employees rude, cheeky and show no understanding.

The food was delicious and you can sit outside. It was not so nice that we had to wait 50 minutes for our meal. At the lunch table. You don't really want to sit there for so long.

I was completely pleasantly surprised. We will definitely be returning. The workforce is brisk, well-groomed and friendly, the chairs are extremely comfortable and the distance between the tables is particularly appropriate. There you certainly don't get the feeling of dining like fish in a can in the evening, yes, ... perfect to still be able to finish off a dessert afterwards.

Very nice place to sit drink

The cocktails are quite good and the view is nice. The price is fair and the staff seemed to be friendly, but i was missing an indicator in the menu to show which drinks are vegan.

We were just there ... The toilets are an imposition and not to mention the service. There was smoking on the balcony and this was simply accepted by the staff. Price performance is not true at all. In one sentence: never again!

Bolero was overall a good place. The facility was pleasant and clean. The staff was very friendly. One has a fine overlook of Kassel. Price was fair. The food, though. Being the main reason for going to a restaurant, if I don't like the food, I would normally dock 2 stars. But, in this case, I am comparing it to what is commonly served in Texas, known as Tex-Mex, and this is Europe, where you are served food as is. My biggest problem with the food was the seasoning, or lack thereof. There were three different dishes ordered, yet all of the meat tasted exactly the same. The sauces provided were also pretty bland, adding very little additional flavor. One of them tasted like spicy spaghetti sauce, which didn't fit all. The guacamole, as far I could tell, was just mashed avocado in a bowl. Again, biased here, but I am used to guacamole having cilantro, onions, and lime juice mixed in. I am fine with a general preparation of food geared to being a little bland, if you then also provide me with something to jazz it up a little if desired. Again, only one star docked.

Amazing view of the Karlsaue. Nice outdoor area with "sandy beach" Essen has always been convincing and better than many other places in the dining area. Cocktails taste good and always came quickly. Have always reserved so far since really well attended. Especially to mention the great staff! Very accommodating and also happy to respond to special requests.

You know what to expect in a bolero and you won't be disappointed. Spacious, bright and tastefully decorated. The food is visually appealing and tasty and delicious. The whole thing for a reasonable price

Great Mexican food and great view Reasonable prices

Good view and drinks, thats it. Had the beef and it tasted frozen, not good at all. But the worst thing was my date had a salad and found hair in the salad, we noticed the waiter. She told us the she would get a new salad, it took about 20min before the salad came. If u can go to a different place, do it!

Very nice place with a very nice view. Peaceful, perfect for a quiet meal with family or friends. A big menu with creative dishes.

A bit expensive but overall very good
